**Responsibilities**:
**_Main Purpose_**
- To acquire on the job training or experience in the R &D environment for the purposes of fulfilling qualification requirements or to get experience after qualification_

**_Accountabilities_**
- _ Responsible for routine analytical and product quality tests._
- _ Lead base product collection from the production lines for development and pilot plant level Lead sample preparation for consumer research _
- _Lead sample preparation for sales listing of new product into stores Collaborate with product developers _
- _Manage courier requests Support maintenance of pilot plant in accordance with 5 S Manage seasoning functionality (Brookfield Testing) _
- _ Engage with external labs for sodium testing & microbiological testing Operation of packaging machine: - Film change - Sample coder Conduct following Laboratory tests : - Salt Analysis - Oil Analysis - Bulk Density Analysis - Particle Size Analysis - Moisture Analysis_

Qualifications:
**_Key Skills / Requirement_**
- _ Degree in a Food Science, Food Technology _
- _Completed at least second year modules Food technology/science or biotechnology with 65-70% aggregate mark_
- _ South African citizen_
