Our fast-pace warehouse is looking for a young energetic individual to join our team in the warehouse department. We are looking for a meticulously coordinated warehouse operations assistant to encourage the safe and fast actualization of order fulfilling-related goals. The opportunity has arisen for a fulltime position, with the responsibility including but not limited to: 1. Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage. 2. Packing and checking all orders in the company, stamp them and sign. Ensure 100% accuracy of the orders. Packing stock and orders in a neatly organized and secure fashion 3. Ensure that all orders are packed according to their specific requirements. Make sure all documents are there for an order. 4. Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging. Identify and dispose of defective items. 5. Properly use packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, nails, padding, etc. 6. Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse. 7. Maintain a clean work area, stock counts and housekeeping. 8. Prepare outbound orders ahead of delivery times by all departments, and report to manager if the orders cannot be completed in time. 9. To carry out general adhoc activities, including but not limited to tagging, labeling, washing, ironing as and when requested To ensure success as a warehouse operation assistant, you should exercise your refined logístical skills to promote task-related efficiency across the company. Ultimately, an excellent warehouse operations assistant should exhibit a capable, efficient, perfectionist approach in every scenario. Minimum requirements: 1. Matric, grade 12; 2. has a good eye for detail and accuracy; 3. possesses excellent literacy and numeracy skills; 4. has drive, enthusiasm and a "can do attitude". **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: R5,500.00 - R6,000.00 per month **Education**: - High School (matric) (preferred) **Experience**: - Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
