Corporate Legal Manager

**Primary Purpose**

Lead Miway’s Corporate legal function by providing expert legal advice, ensuring compliance, managing legal risks, and supporting business strategy. Oversee legal documentation, governance, litigation, and departmental performance.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

**Stakeholder Management**
- Resolve legal issues quickly and effectively.
- Understand business needs and deliver timely legal solutions.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

**Operational Management**
- Draft and review contracts and legal documents.
- Provide legal opinions and advice across Miway.
- Conduct legal due diligence on transactions and funding.
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise on risk mitigation.
- Manage intellectual property and legal approvals.
- Lead litigation and protect Miway’s legal interests.
- Support governance, compliance, and risk teams.
- Maintain legal records and promote clear communication.

- Lead and mentor the Legal team.
- Promote excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**
- Legal degree (essential)
- Admitted attorney (essential)

**Experience**
- 5-7 years post-admission experience in corporate and commercial law (essential)
- Financial services or legal practice background (essential)
- Insurance law expertise and experience (essential)
- Managerial or supervisory experience
