Graphic Designer Intern

Inherent requirements:

- Matric
- Relevant degree / diploma in Multimedia or Communication design
- Portfolio of evidence
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Computer literate (MS programs such as Excel, Word, and Power Point. Preferred requirements:

- 1 to 2 years working experience post-graduation
- Constant attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to plan and organise activities
- Ability to work with Priemer Pro and After Effects
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) Duties and responsibilities:

- Taking the raw footage turning it into the final product
- This means following an outline, script or shot list and assembling the footage into one video or film
- Adding sound effects and graphics and fine-turning the completed video or film
- Edit proofs to the Company’s specifications and obtain signoff / approval before finalizing artwork
- Work and collaborate with Art Directors, Copywriters, Photographers and other Designers
- Adhere to the Company’s brand identity and guidelines
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders about progress of projects and any challenges which may arise
- Ensure that artwork is correct and supplied in the right format, size and colour codes
- Create visually compelling designs, graphics, illustrations, videos and animations that align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the desired message
- Ensure that all creative deliverables are produced within the established deadlines and adhere to the brand guidelines, quality standards and best practices
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute fresh ideas and create solutions to enhance digital marketing strategies
- Assist the marketing team with events and capture digital content such as images and video Character traits:
