Cost and Production Analyst
Job Summary
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure that the reporting data is accurate and on time to meet the group reporting deadlines.
To be compliant with statutory & legal requirements.
To analyse the data provided to make proper financial decisions.
To identify variances & put in place preventative controls.
Assist internal staff with all financial requirements and requests.
Provisional/recurring and standard journal processing with backup.
Prepare and manage provisions, reallocations, and accruals for the site.
Maintain and control the critical stock levels and all consumable stock items.
Reliable and accurate inventory reconciliation including stock count process management.
Verification, Maintenance, and control of fixed assets.
Analyse the income statement and other related financial reports.
Cost control, Identify and implement cost reduction/savings measures.
Financial analytics and reporting.
Flash report on a weekly basis in alignment with the Mine Manager
