Our mine, situated in the Limpopo Province about 60 kilometers from Lydenburg and 40 kilometers from Burgersfort, and is a world-class producer of Chrome Ore.

The successful applicant will report to the Chargehand or nominee.

**MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 10/ Standard 8 Certificate.
- Competent B Certificate or ability to obtain within required time.

**EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to)**:

- Completion of a relevant approved training programme.
- 1 year practical experience as Rock Drill Operator.
- ** Advantageous**:6 months practical Underground Mining experience, e.g.: Pump Attendant/ PTW.

**DUTIES (including but not limited to)**:
- Drill anchor holes required for anchoring of belt structures and equipment.- Drill anchor holes in foot wall to secure belt structures/tips, etc., according to schedule. Anchoring of winches.- Drilling, installation, tensioning and grouting of anchor bolts.- Handling and care of drilling machine and accessories. e.g., thrustle and airleg. Ensure clean and safe.
