The primary purpose of the Production Administrator is to provide a professional, efficient and accurate
service to customers and the business.

**RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Manage all administrative processes required for the production department
- Accurate collating of information pertaining to the loading, baling, cutting and clearing of ferrous scrap
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and legislation
- Daily reporting of Local Ferrous deliveries and capturing thereof
- Recording monthly outside transporters tonnage and costs per ton
- Monthly ferrous/non-ferrous schedule of customers ‘tonnages
- Information gathering for attendance & timekeeping and checking of monthly wages
- Checking and certifying of time and attendance
- Assist with drivers and fleet, confirmation of collection
- Verifying accuracy of financial documents
- Reconciliations of accounts
- Capturing daily information for reporting purposes
- Preparing documentation for equipment to be exported
- Requesting monthly invoicing and reporting thereof
- Assisting Managers with Safe Working Procedures and keeping personnel files up to date

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum Grade 12
- 3- 5 years relevant experience in a similar administrative role

Reporting to: Production Divisional Director
Job type: Permanent position

**Standard hours**

07h30-17h00: Monday - Thursday
07h30-16h00: Friday
