**Position Overview**:
As a Yellow Plant Mechanic at MO N MO Group, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a range of yellow plant machinery used in construction and civil projects. Your expertise in diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues will play a vital role in ensuring the continued performance and safety of our fleet of plant equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on yellow plant machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, front-end loaders, and more.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults.
- Ensure all machinery is compliant with safety standards and regulations.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and repairs completed.
- Assist in managing the inventory of spare parts and equipment.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure mínimal downtime of plant equipment.
- Provide technical support and advice when needed to other staff members.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Yellow Plant Mechanic or in a similar role within the construction or plant hire industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Relevant technical qualifications in mechanical or automotive engineering.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license (Code 8 or higher).
- Own tools are preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with plant machinery from various manufacturers.
- Ability to conduct fault diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools.
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices in the construction industry.
