Picker/packer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately pick ordered items from store shelves according to Uber Eats app instructions.
- Ensure all items meet quality standards (e.g., freshness, correct brand/size).
- Pack orders neatly, securely, and efficiently for fast and safe delivery.
- Communicate with store staff and Uber Eats support when items are out of stock or require substitution.
- Maintain a clean, organized picking and packing station.
- Assist with restocking shelves and monitoring inventory as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with walk-in customers.
- Remain aware of promotional items and upsell opportunities to help increase basket value.
- Work quickly and effectively during peak hours, maintaining high attention to detail.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a retail, logistics, or order fulfillment role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good product knowledge and an eye for detail.
- Physically fit — able to stand for long periods and move quickly.
- Tech-savvy — comfortable using order management apps and mobile devices.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Pay: R5 500,00 - R8 500,00 per month
