**Experience**:
Matric (essential)

Extensive and proven experience of no less than 2 years in a Safety Officer position in a medium sized company.

Safety Management Training Course (SAMTRAC) (beneficial)

Computer Literacy in MS Office (essential)

Excellent Understanding in OHS Act and it's regulations (essential)

First Aid Leve **2 or 3** (essential)

Health and Safety Auditors Course (beneficial)

Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment (HIRA)

Incident Investigation (beneficial)

**Duties**:
Day to day inspections

Develop and implement risk assessments

Investigating of incidents

Updating of trend analysis

Liaise with OHS Manager on various matters.

Administrative tasks

Ad-hoc activities as required by OHS Manager and Top management as and when required

Waste Management

Auditing
