Formwork Foreman

A leading manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Formwork Foreman

**Responsibilities ( includes but are not limited to)**:

- Read, understand, interpret plans, and specifications as required.
- Review all shop drawings for rebar, cables, stud rails and formwork.
- Ensure that site activities are executed in accordance with specifications budget and time schedule.
- Monitor shutter making and assembling process.
- Review all mix designs and ensures it aligns with plans.
- Ensure that all parties involved are aware of their responsibilities and expectations informed by the project status.
- Uphold company policies pertaining to equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, harassment, and drugs and alcohol.
- Ensure that team members are well qualified and are able to efficiently carrying out duties assigned.
- Understand basic principles of measurements, arithmetic and geometric calculations.
- Knowledge of timber, aluminum, and steel structural formwork.
- Ability to do costing for formwork materials.
- Knowledge of Quality systems and plant maintenance.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- At least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in welding, general metal processing/manufacturing will be an advantage

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gauteng, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Formwork: 3 years (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (required)
