**Job Overview**:
A renowned **financial services group** has an exciting opportunity for a **Maintenance Planner **to assist within their** Engineering and Facilities Services divisions.**

**Position Overview**:
The main purpose of this position is to **perform day-to-day planning, scheduling and coordination** (issue and follow through on work orders) within the **Engineering and Facilities Services divisions**.

**Key Performance Areas**
- **_Plan daily capacity to optimise resources cost _**(labour, material, and equipment) across the Engineering and Facilities Services divisions.
- Identify, plan and schedule diverse types of **_maintenance activities. _**:

- Perform **_daily and weekly planning_** (seven-day cycle).
- Identify, purchase, update and manage the **_spares inventory. _**:

- Manage the **_vehicle maintenance and procurement system_**.
- Develop **_cost and time estimates_** for planned and corrective (ad hoc) maintenance work.
- Manage and advise role players (mainly **_technicians and contractors_**) on the effective and standardised prioritisation of work (as per service level standards).

**To be considered for this opportunity**:
**_ Qualifications and experience required:_**
- **An N6 Technical Diploma in Engineering, or a National Diploma in Engineering or Industrial Engineering.**:

- A **valid driver’s license**.
- **3 - 5 Years’ experience** working as a **Technician or Technical Planner**.
- A **specialist qualification in planning and scheduling, preferred.**:

- An intermediate to **advanced computer qualification, preferred**.
