CrossBoundary is recruiting a full-time Business Intelligence Specialist to join our Advisory Team. As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will ensure that CrossBoundary Advisory members are able to efficiently access and download information from a variety of database and technology platforms including CrossBoundary’s CRM. You will be responsible for data inputs, reporting, research, data auditing, deduplication, and enrichment. You will be responsible for managing training for the relevant platforms and establishing standards and best practices for these platforms. You will be the point-person for accessing data from particular platforms and sending it to teams.

- 2+ years of experience in CRM or other database management, and research and data analysis

- Bachelor’s degree required

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Manage data sources used for desk research, data analysis, and client outreach management
- Keep memberships up-to-date and ensure team members can access reports and data sets as they need them
- Respond to requests for data pulls from various data sources
- Conduct basic analysis of large datasets for team members
- Manage internal library filing systems
- Assist with sourcing experts upon request
- Create systems for data management to improve search functionality in DealCloud and Sharepoint, creating efficiencies for team members
- Handle ad-hoc special projects for management team related to CRM, and other data processes
- Manage data used for marketing materials
- Serve as the system owner and knowledge center for our Client Relationship Management platform (DealCloud)
- Advise on an appropriate dashboarding and reporting strategy for the firm as it scales; design and deliver new dashboards and reports to meet business needs.
- Continuously evolve and optimize DealCloud platform based on experience and knowledge of database/industry best practices, along with feedback from the firm’s management team and users at all levels of the organization
- Conduct training on DealCloud for employees across all levels
- Serve as point of contact for questions and requests
- Serve as primary liaison between DealCloud representatives and internal parties, escalating necessary system changes and suggestions
- Take measures to ensure appropriate hygiene efforts are in place to uphold data integrity, including leading data audit processes with buy-in from all members at the firm
- Implement strategies to drive user adoption across the firm
- Collaborate closely with the advisory team members to streamline and automate deal tracking and other manual tasks
- Manage DealCloud integrations and data synchronizations with other data sources as needed
- Serve as the product owner for Pitchbook and CapIQ Pro
- Handle inbound requests for data pulls
- Co-ordinate the team of regional Pitchbook power users
- Collaborate with Pitchbook and CapIQ support services to optimize the efficiency of data downloads and assist in the development of customised sheets using the Excel plug in functionality
