An Electrician oversees the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This role involves managing a team of electricians, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with other departments to ensure that electrical projects are completed efficiently and on time.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 with relevant qualification
- Must be Trade Tested - Red Seal
- 12 years relevant experience in a related role within the HVAC environment and experience in leading a team
- Must be able to work in a fast paced and high performing environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery and equipment in compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
- Conduct preventative maintenance routines to ensure longevity and efficient operations of electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices and diagnostic equipment
- Regularly inspect electrical systems, circuits and equipment to identify potential hazards or malfunctions
- Report any electrical problems, safety concerns or potential risks to the Maintenance Manager or relevant personnel
- Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Ensure compliance with local and state electrical codes and regulations
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff, engineers, and production personnel to ensure seamless operations
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies or breakdowns to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of personnel and equipment
