Chipping and Spray Painter

**Chipping and Spray Painting Operation**:

- Prepare parts and surfaces for painting or coating by removing dirt, rust and or any loose/old paint
- Mix and match paint precisely as per the specification
- Pour paint into spray guns and adjust nozzles for accurate paint flow and thickness
- Properly mask areas which are not being painted and remove tape at the completion of the job
- Sand and clean surfaces between coats where required
- Identify and touch up any defective areas
- Keep track of paint stock and liaise with your manager for replenishment
- Clean and service spray paint equipment as per the operator’s manual
- Use a grinder or other chipping equipment to clean welding sparks and spatters on welded items
- Use an angle grinder to prepare materials for welding
- Operating deburring machines to deburr materials for painting or welding
