**Job Advert Summary**:
Our client, a leader in the private healthcare industry, is urgently looking for **Registered Nurses (RN) / Professional Nurses (PN) **with proven **general** **THEATRE SCRUB** and** Anaesthetics experience. **This is a **permanent opportunity** at a private hospital in** Plattekloof area** in** Cape Town Northern Suburbs.**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Valid SANC licence
- At least 1-year post-qualification** theatre experience**:

- An additional qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing Science/Diploma in Critical Care Nursing will be advantageous
- Knowledge of clinical procedures, relevant nursing legislation, the Scientific Nursing Process and BCA bundles
- Management of surgical equipment and instruments
- Infection prevention and control (IPC) principles and protocols
- Risk management

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Deliver safe, comprehensive and quality peri-operative nursing care according to Scope of Practice.
- Deliver quality peri-operative nursing care in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team
- Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety
- Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment
- Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions
- Create a learning environment that builds staff competence
- Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged
