Specialist Claims Consultant

**Purpose of position**:
Processing all binder-related claims according to the company’s claims philosophy, whilst ensuring continuous improvement of customer service and technical delivery.

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete understanding of the claims handling process and processing claims accordingly
- Identifying risks and acting on it
- Capturing and processing claims accurately, efficiently and according to the company’s claims philosophy
- Adhering to the claims SLA’s regarding claim validation, finalization and settlement
- Adhering to Best Practice for Customer Service and TCF principles
- Ensuring the best customer experience for both internal and external customers

**Requirements**:

- Matric (essential)
- Minimum 3 years’ short term insurance claims experience (essential)
- Commercial claims experience (advantageous)
- Must be FAIS compliant
- Knowledge of insurance and various policy wordings
- Any other insurance qualifications will be advantageous
