- Manage the software delivery cycle inclusive of research, development, design, evaluation, testing and implementation
- Perform closely with Engineers, Developers and Product Management and other technical staff to deliver high quality software
- Alignment with enterprise architect framework

**Continuous improvement practices and processes**
- Implement automated software development tools and processes
- Establish software development standards and processes along with best practices for delivery
- Identify skills required to deliver and recruit new staff members
- Review unit tests, software development documents, monitor status of developing software
- Transfer skills and knowledge to relevant resource to reduce role dependency risk
- Building secure software aligned with best practices
- Ensuring operational excellence

**Conduct controlled experiments on technology and processes that accelerate the delivery of customer value**
- Manage approved research and development on new technologies

**Assist with strategic objectives and the architecture strategy for the department**
- Resource management and reporting of all development tasks
- Management feedback and Ad hoc tasks in line with the company’s objectives as and when required

**Formal Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, software engineering, other related field
- Project management certification (advantage)
- AGILE Certification

**Experience**:

- 10 years of IT Development experience
- 5-7 years in IT management
- Azure cloud experience (advantage)

**Salary**: R100,000.00 - R109,000.00 per month
