IT Manager

One of our large Security Access Specialists clients based in Linbro Park are urgently in need of an IT Manager within the Access Control/ Security Access Industry who can start immediately or as soon as possible.

**THIS IS A BEE POSITION AS PER CLIENT REQUIREMENTS. CLIENT PREFERABLE SEEKING A FEMALE FOR THIS POSITION**

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent would be an advantage.
- 5 years’ experience working in IT Management
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Firm grasp on IT Infrastructure and Operational best practices

**Duties**:

- Managing I.T staff.
- I.T Policies and procedures: Review the policies once a year and sign it off; Add new policies as needed
- I.T network infrastructure (as a whole), including: Head Office Fibre; Head Office broadband; Branches Fibre and microwave solutions; Connectivity to offsite location for backups; Switches at Head Office; Switches at the branches; Network uptime.
- Server Health: Uptime; Microsoft updates; Anti-Virus updates; Hard-drive space
- Purchasing of hardware
- Cyber Security: Mimecast
- Microsoft licensing compliance: Operating systems; Servers; Office; Visio; Project
- Disaster recovery and business continuity: Update the DR/BC document; Test at least once a year with management; Document the testing and sign it off; maintain the DR servers at offsite location; Take offsite backups of public folders every week
- User desktop support.
- Network points.
- Network printers.
- Data SIM cards and contracts: Head Office and branches.
- Technicians company phones and SIM cards
- Telephone system: Head Office; Branches; PABX at offsite location; Extensions (Create new and maintain existing); Mobile integration; Purchasing of accessories
- Generator upkeep: Testing that it starts; Asking repair center to top up the diesel; making sure it’s serviced
- Mobile Application: Technician training; Login creation; Technician ID creation; Warehouse - Boot stock creation
- Adobe licensing compliance.
- Knox mobile management software
- Security access cards creation and printing.
- Intranet support.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: From R25,000.00 per month
