Factory Manager

**Experience**
The successful incumbent must have at least two (2) years' experience with factory management AS WELL AS be proficient in all welding disciplines.

**Formal qualifications**
- Matric or equivalent NQF level
- Millwright
- Qualified welder (proficient in Tig, Arch and CO2 welding)
- Valid driving license code 14
- Own transport
- A valid medical certificate certifying the incumbents fitness status to work
- Competency with all Microsoft Office Packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Project)
- Competency with Google App Suite will be advantageous
- Experience in CAD (computer aided drawing) programs
- Experience with Pastel
- A valid forklift licence

**Responsibilities**
- Ensuring that the factory and manufacturing runs to its optimal potential
- Liaising with the Procurement Department in order to maintain sufficient stock levels for the steel
- Ensuring the correct use and maintenance of equipment, machinery and tools
- Managing health and safety on the factory floor and surrounding areas in accordance with the health and safety legislation
