The Business Intelligence Team is looking for an individual to join the team. You will be responsible to produce management information for the Financialservices division in order to support business and strategic decisions. You must have a passion for detail, data and business processes. You must have a drive to understand how things work and how to improve the existing environment.
**Your key performance areas will be**:

- Perform data analysis, extracts and reporting from the Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Responsible for management information reports on a regular or adhoc basis

**Core competencies**
- Building strong relationships with customers on all levels to understand their management information requirements and identify where further value can be added.
- You must develop and produce management information and reports and be proactive in the identification and rectification of data gaps/errors with relevant managers to assist in promoting high quality data standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- To be able to perform at a high level of accuracy.
- Must be structured and planned in how they approach their workload and be able to balance competing needs
- To be self-motivated, well organised and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

**To qualify for this position, you will need**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification. (Business Science IT, BSc Computer Science or ND: Information Technology)
- Prior Data warehouse experience essential.
- Knowledge of dimensional databases; including experience in creating optimized scripts / queries.
- Knowledge of Tableau or similar reporting front-end advantageous, with proven data visualisation skill will be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of database architecture.
