**Counter Terrorism and Proliferation Financing Analyst**:
**Introduction**:**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Key responsibilities include:
conducting research and keeping abreast of Terrorism Finance and Proliferation Finance threats, vulnerabilities and trends and providing specialist reports to management for review and making recommendations on guidance to be issued to accountable institutions
**Desired Experience & Qualification**:
- an honours degree (political science, international relations, international security, international law, law or other fields related to non-proliferation and financial sanctions) or equivalent;
- five to eight years of professional experience, including research and analysis experience, in the area of preventing the financing of terrorism, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and target financial sanctions.
- Data analysis and reporting knowledge and skill;
- Experience in Terrorism Finance / Proliferation FInance risk assessments tool design, implementation and analytics
- Comprehensive research and analysis experience in the area of preventing the financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
**Package & Remuneration**:
- R1.2 million cost to company per annum
