Divisional Lead Procurement

**Position: Divisional Lead Procurement**

**Location: Phalaborwa, Limpopo**

**Salary: Market Related**

**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
- Acting as Focal point for the Site representative for all Procurement needs from the business and Users.
- Working in close collaboration with the Central Procurement Teams and Users by Proactively identifying operational needs and ensuring efficient and effective buying and fulfilment of material services in alignment with The Procurement policies and procedures..
- The Divisional Lead will manage a team of Divisional /Capex buyers at their sites(Either Mining or Acid) to ensure service levels are met in relation to all Procure to pay (P2p).
- Responsible for their administration, Performance and Development Plans.

**EDUCATION**
- Relevant Teriary Qualification in Procurement/Supply Chain Management/Business Management.
- Post Graduate Qualification will be an advantage.
- Procurement Certificate will be an advantage.

**EXPERIENCE**
- 5 years Procurement experience in the Chemical and Mining Industry.
- 3 Years in a a senior management Role.

**Knowledge &Experience in the following**:

- Product Knowledge in Mining / Chemical processing.
- Good Practises Procurement Governance and Compliance, Corporate Governance.
- Procurement Processes and ERP systems e.g. JDE.
- Financial and Business acumen
- Relevant South African Regulations and Legislation (E.g. SANS, ISO, Mining Charter, PPPFA, BBBEE).

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Acting as local Procurement Representative in respective sites, managing end user relationships, and implementing business strategies, policies, and procedures at Divisional Level.
- Working with Transformation ED/SD Community Manager to drive transformation agenda and identify local suppliers.
- Managing and planning tasks to ensure continuous compliance to SHREQ, procedures, policies, and legislation.
- Leading and managing performance of the Procurement section.
