Autocad Draughtsman

**Key Performance Area**:

- Drafting designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation).
- Preparing dimensional drawings, installation drawings and more complex drawings
- Making adjustments to drawings and designs according to feedback from engineers and project managers. procedure to ensure consistent documentation of the project.
- Collaborating with the design team to review drawings and designs.
- Ensure final drawings are as per final designs.
- Ensure fabricated steel is according to drawings with QC inspections.
- Put together preliminary project timelines.
- Put together preliminary bill of materials for project costing.
- Ensure Mine Health and Safety Act. Or relevant client safety system compliance on projects.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Experience using AutoCAD 2D & 3D design software such as Revit, Advance Steel, Inventor, Navisworks, AutoCAD
- Good interpersonal relation and communication qualities
- Excellent planner
- Self-motivator with great start to finish mind set
- Good reporting skills
- Microsoft Office experience
- Experience on processing plants
- The ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in design office environment with experience in the mining industry preferred.
- Completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
