**CBRE Overview**
CBRE manages the maintenance of Data Centres and is committed to the provision of an

efficient and effective critical engineering maintenance service. The primary function is to ensure

100% uptime of engineering services to ensure there is zero impact to the client’s business

operations.

**Role Overview**:
Accountable for the planning and delivery of all repair, installation, and/or modification services or

machine servicing of self delivery or contractor activity on site. And the commination flow between

shifts to ensure service delivery.

**Key objectives of the role (Not exhaustive or necessarily in order of importance)**:

- Ensure all maintenance procedures, regular checks and routine inspections on equipment in conjunction with the maintenance team are completed and with accurate documented feedback
- Accountable to ensure all Service reports are available following all supplier visits to site without expectations
- Responsible for the stock level on shift, review stock levels, spares requirement following reactive tasks and through audit and to get approvals and place any orders.
- Support the shift where required to ensure the continuous operation of the installed system.
- Support the shift where required to ensure all repair and minor works associated with the installed services to CBRE scope are performed as required under best practice.
- Support the shift where required to assist and enhance service delivery through best practice and the effective use of site systems and equipment
- Responsible to ensure all self delivery work and contractor activities are carried out in accordance to CBRE site Health & Safety procedures
- Responsible to ensure the team understand and have the training to ensure all self performed work and contractors are carried out in accordance to Data Centre and CBRE site Health & Safety procedures
- Ensure and inspect teams to ensure they performing personal risk assessments of maintenance and repair activities.
- Responsible to ensure the teams follow the contractor management process and All permits are signed on and out as per GMR 2.7
- Accountable for the Supplier GRN process
- Responsible to ensure shift is covered as required
- Accountable for the state of the plantroom to best practice
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field.
- Supervisory Training Certificates
- Recognised Apprenticeship
- HSE training
- Managing teams within a data centre environment
- Experience of safety documentation within the Data Centre.

**Role requirements**:
The Data Centre sites operate on a 24/7 basis; as such incumbents may be required to respond operational requirements in line with functional responsibilities. Furthermore, due to the nature of the position and operational requirements of the company incumbents will be required to working according to a Shift Roster, details of which will be communicated by the Management Team.
