FAMSA Western Cape seeks to employ a full-time Social Auxiliary Workers based at the Dunoon and Joe Slovo offices.

**Starting date**:1 September 2025

**Salary**:R7129.00/month

**Requirements**:

- Social Auxiliary Work Qualification
- Registered with SACSSP
- Minimum of 3 years’experience as a social auxiliary worker.
- Willingness to work after-hours and Saturdays if needed.
- Fluent in English; additional language/s will be an advantage.
- Administrative Skills
- Computer Skills (MS Office proficiency is a requirement).
- Excellent time management skills.
- Planning, coordinating, organizing and negotiating skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work well in a team and independently.
- Self-management.
- Able to take initiative.
- Meeting of deadlines.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
- Responsibility and reliability re use of official work time.
- Emotional maturity / stability.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Client Intake
- General office administration and record keeping.
- Assistance to Social Worker/s
- Talks and workshops within communities.
- Timeous and accurate reporting.
- The social auxiliary workers may need to work at other FAMSA WC offices, as required.

**Commencement date**: 1 September 2025

Pay: R7 129,00 per month

Work Location: In person
