We’re seeking a dynamic Marketing and Social Media Manager to lead our brand’s marketing efforts across digital platforms. This person will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing social media accounts, growing our online presence, and driving customer engagement and sales through impactful content and campaigns.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Marketing Strategy & Execution**:

- Develop and implement monthly marketing plans aligned with business goals.
- Coordinate product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand campaigns.
- Oversee all digital and offline marketing initiatives.
- **Social Media Management**:

- Manage day-to-day operations across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.).
- Create, schedule, and post engaging content that reflects the brand voice and vision.
- Monitor trends and analytics to grow followers and drive engagement.
- **Content Creation & Brand Storytelling**:

- Collaborate with photographers, designers, and videographers to produce high-quality content.
- Write compelling captions, blogs, and newsletters.
- Manage influencer partnerships and user-generated content.
- **Digital Advertising & Performance Marketing**:

- Plan and execute paid ad campaigns across Meta, Google, and other relevant platforms.
- Track KPIs and report on campaign performance and ROI.
- Use SEO and analytics tools to refine strategy.
- **Community Engagement**:

- Respond to customer inquiries and comments across social platforms.
- Build a loyal online community through interactive content and storytelling.

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience in marketing, social media, or brand management (preferably in lifestyle, furniture, or fashion sectors).
- Proficiency in tools such as Meta Business Suite, Canva, Google Analytics, and Mailchimp.
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills.
- Understanding of the South African market and cultural landscape.
- Creative, self-motivated, and highly organised.
- Bonus: Photography, videography, or graphic design skills.

In addition to this role, which is office based at our Shop in Somerset West, you would be expected to assist clients with purchases at the shop. The shop is mostly very quiet - average of 2-3 customers per day, which is why we'd like to combine these two roles. As the retail assistant, your main role will be to create a welcoming experience for customers, guide them through our product range, and ensure smooth day-to-day shop operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, approachable manner
- Provide detailed product knowledge and recommendations
- Process sales through the POS system and handle cash/card payments
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and visually appealing store environment
- Keep stock levels up to date and assist with unpacking deliveries
- Support store promotions and help with merchandising displays
- Handle basic customer service queries and escalate where needed

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Positive attitude and team spirit
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as required

Pay: From R12 000,00 per month
