Talent Acquisition Specialist, Strand

**Purpose of the Position**:
Professional individual who can work mainly independently in a positive, supportive HR environment. Assist & support the HR team with the entire scope of the talent acquisition process. To source, qualify and influence talent for all levels, ranging from easy to hard-to-fill/ critical positions across the Group. This role is for you if you are a highly task-driven person, with the ability to critically evaluate trends, build relationships to mitigate risk and provide for future positions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be expected to improve the business’ current recruitment process, and constantly seek out excellent talent in the motor industry or broader market to hire or build talent pools and communities.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for managing every stage of the talent acquisition cycle, e.g., Assist with compiling and loading of job adverts, CV shortlisting and scheduling of interviews
- Incorporating a data-driven approach to optimise the hiring funnel
- Ability to conduct proper reference checks and screening interviews
- Developing and adhering to an unbiased and efficient interview process
- Reliable record keeping and reporting to management on the status of vacancies across the Group (develop a rigorous Applicant Tracking System)
- Provide quarterly and yearly reporting on all new appointments across the Group
- Writing and updating job descriptions for both internal and external (advertising) use
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation is adhered to (continuously stay up to date with the latest recruitment best practices, current technologies, and talent acquisition trends)
**Minimum Requirements**
- Min Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification in HR Field advantageous
- Motor Industry experience advantageous
- Minimum of 3+ years HR and Recruitment/ Talent Acquisition experience
- Experience with various recruitment sites or systems
- Computer Literate (MS Office suite)
- Fast typing speed and knowledge of keyboard shortcuts for efficiency
- Demonstrates ability to get things done
- Data-driven and analytical (critical thinker)
- Excellent administrative skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Communicates reliably and regularly about the status of a vacancy
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tough deadlines
**Salary structure**:
- Basic monthly salary

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month
