SplashOut has an exciting opportunity available for a Junior DTP Workflow Operator to be based in Umhlanga, Durban. The successful incumbent will ensure that there is compliance with all policies and procedures and strict adherence to internal controls. The Team Member’s primary responsibility is to image and proofread printing plates. The DTP Operator will use electronic, automated systems to maintain a high degree of quality and production standards in a high volume, fast-paced environment. In addition, the Team Member will provide regular maintenance on equipment and will assume responsibility for the printing of proofs and other print functions using a digital print press.

Minimum requirements:

- 6 Month experience in the Print environment or similar
- Knowledge of Design software (Acrobat, Indesign/ Corel)
- Competent in MS Office products

**Responsibilities**:

- Assume and maintain responsibility of pre-flighting artwork, setting up for proofing and platemaking.
- Setting up and measurements of all vehicles wraps and signage.
- Responsible for imposition setup of artwork files.
- Maintain a high degree of quality in a fast-paced production environment.
- Maintenance and general upkeep of machinery/equipment.
- Aid the factory production Teams by assisting with Folding, Cutting and general handwork and Signage finishing when required.
- Share knowledgebase and train junior Team Members to upskill Team in general maintenance of machinery.
- Assist with additional ad-hoc responsibilities as and when required

- Must be innovative, pro-active and a strategic thinker
