Workshop Manager

**Purpose of the Position**:Accurately access damages and raise an accurate estimation for repairing of the vehicle
**Outcomes**:
- All vehicles are properly assessed and quotes for repairs done according to industry standards
- Profitability of all jobs is maximized within the industry norms
- All work opportunities are secured
**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Conduct a thorough assessment of the vehicle damages so as to minimise any additional.
- Complete digital assessment appropriately and submit to the insurance company
- Complete onsite assessment and quotations as required.
- Only factory parts are used on warrantee vehicle hours.
- Ensure that the correct charges are applied for all work
- The appropriate labour rates are applied taking into account the different insurance labour rates
- Use trade and retail value guideline to ensure that vehicles are quoted within the repair margins, where ever possible.
- Labour costs must be reasonably maximized
- Liase with assessors where it is appropriate to change from replace to repair
- Use save a car program were applicable or necessary
- Build and maintain a good second hand/ alternate parts supplier network.
- Follow up with insurance companies so as to ensure that the work is secured
Pay: R19 999,00 - R20 000,00 per month
