Job Title: Theatre Nurse

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure accurate stock counts are performed when required
- Account for and maintain equipment and supplies
- Ensure accurate patient billing
- Perform all theatre duties and take responsibility for theatre instruments used and repacked via CSSD
- Constantly monitor the smooth running of the theatre
- Liaise with doctors and maintain inter-departmental relationships
- Ensure all required documentation is correctly completed, filed, and distributed

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 Certificate
- Theatre experience required
- Post Basic Diploma in Operating Theatre Technique (added advantage)
- Private hospital experience (added advantage)
- Proof of registration with S.A.N.C. and personal indemnity
- Ability to maintain excellent standards and service levels
- Customer service focus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including after-hours call work
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English proficiency)
- Mature personality with the ability to assist patients in a courteous and polite manner
- Punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
