Create end-to-end visibility and agility through an integrated and synchronised consensus plan to ensure the business delivers the desired customer service levels at optimum total cost to serve. The S&OP manager must drive the formal management of all Planning Assumptions, Vulnerabilities & Opportunities to ensure the S&OP plans are firstly aligned to the set Strategic Goals & and Targets, identify all bottom-up gaps against the topdown plan and drive the gap closing actions to mitigate vulnerabilities and capture opportunities to deliver or outperform the set targets with an aligned plan across the end-to-end business.

The role is also accountable to deliver the Peak Plans though the S&OP Process that includes more granular and more frequent planning as the business prepares for and execute its plans though its annual Summer Peak which is a significant portion of the company’s annual volume and profit.

As Subject Matter Expert for CCBA, the CCBA-SA S&OP Manager must drive the business to higher levels of planning maturity by leading an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) / Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Continuous Improvement Process for South Africa and cascading the education across CCBA-SA, while supporting CCBA Group to develop Best Practice Standards and supporting other Countries with their S&OP & Demand Planning Processes. Being the Subject Matter Expert, the Demand Planning Team reports into the S&OP Manager as it is a critical part of the plan to ensure that a true bottom-up Demand Planning discipline is adhered to.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Strategic Planning: Aligned & Deployed Strategy**
- Ensure that 3-5 year plans are aligned with Business Strategy and Objectives.
- Compile 3-5 Year Demand Plans / Business Plan.
- Compile 3-5 Year End-to-End Supply Plans to deliver the Business Plan.
- Tactical programs and align bottom up plan with top down targets.

**Developed Business** **Planning** **Capability (S&OP/IBP)**
- Set a framework to develop staff capability in S&OP / IBP (Integrated Business Planning).
- Design, review and improve planning processes and systems. Cascading this capability to relevant
stakeholders thought out the business.
- Effective 5 Step S&OP Process: Product Review; Demand Review; Supply Review; Reconciliation + Gap-closing and Management Business Review processes in place.
- Effective Operational Planning & Control Process (13 weeks): Master Supply Planning &
Scheduling; Material Requirements Planning; Capacity Planning; Manufacturing Planning and
Execution; Procurement Planning and Execution; Data Accuracy.

**Optimise the Supply Network & Supply Route Matrix**
- Through S&OP, ensure optimal source of supply of all products to all points of distribution
considering all supply chain costs, while eliminating Out of Stocks.
- Optimise Working Capital through managing Days of Cover of both Raw Materials and Finished
Goods.

**Ensure Business Continuity**
- Through S&OP, ensure that business continuity is addressed via scenario modelling for Raw Materials and supply through Manufacturing & Logistics.
- Management of the supply and inventory holding of Concentrate, with a well-developed working relationship with CPS & the OU.

**Sustained Business Planning Processes through Knowledge Management**
- Develop Policies; Procedures; Activity Diagrams, Process Flows, Role Clarification (RACI) and Work Instructions for planning processes.

**Effective use of ERP Planning Modules and IPS (Integrated Planning Solution) or APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling Tools)**
- Identify systems requirements to support planning processes; Selection of appropriate systems; Implementation, education and sustaining of systems.

**Establish a Centre of Excellence with Supply Chain Planning Best Practices**
- ** **Develop and Implement a Planning Centre of Excellence for CCBA, based on Best-in-Class Supply Chain Planning Processes and Principles. Consultation and Collaboration with recognised, benchmarked best in class as well as formalised SC Planning best practice bodies.

**Departmental Management**
- ** **Instil a culture of Professionalism and Continuous improvement for the planning function at CCBA by developing people, performance manage, ongoing coaching and establishing good employee** **relations.

**Judgement and Decision Making**
- Accountable to deliver an optimal Demand & Supply Plan over a 18 -24 month view to deliver to the business top down strategy, objectives & targets.
- Deliver a 13 week operational plan to deliver to the required Customer Service Levels at Optimal Cost and make changes on a daily basis to adjust the plan as reality unfolds.
- Decisions / changes will be made will be across the end-to-end Supply Chain for both Operational (13 weeks) and Tactical (18 months) Plans.
- Decisions / changes will impact all Plants, Distribution, Sales & Customers, Business Profitability and Suppliers.
