Our large coal and heavy minerals mining client is currently recruiting for a Senior Specialist to provide expert knowledge and management of project estimation as a function across all large and mega projects and set standards to ensure that sound practices are applied across all projects, adding maximum value for business of today/tomorrow.

12-month Contract

Qualifications:

- BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate Project Management (Recommended/Desirable)
- Management Development Programme (Recommended/Desirable)

**Experience**:

- 6-8 years Experience in project management methodologies, Project Management Body of Knowledge, project evaluation and improvement, exposure to projects in heavy industry, project management principles and practices for planning and estimating.
- Relevant engineering management exposure, problem solving and optimization.
- Must have broad engineering exposure on projects.
- Must have worked as an estimator on large/mega projects.
- Must have proven experience in resolving estimating issues and contractual claims.
