A well-established company in the centre of
**Cape Town, Western Cape** is looking to employ an
**Internal Controls Specialist**.

The main purpose of this role is to support the department through ensuring sound controls within the organization, continuous improvement of key processes, and ensuring accuracy of financial reporting through various audits and reviews.

**Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or SAIPA qualification
- Newly qualified CA (SA) preferred
- Three to five years' experience in audit
- Performance driven; ability to achieve goals in a high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well both independently/in a team environment, take directions from superiors and work independently and handle several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to use own initiative
- Confidentiality
- Integrity understands duties of loyalty and care
- Good communication skills
- Honest and ethical
- Audit training

**Duties and Responsibilities:
- Auditing and reviews
- Documentation of Finance SOPs
- Due diligence reviews
- Assist CFO with various investigations and reviews needed
- Drive continuous improvement of processes in the company
