**Working hours**:Mon and Fri 09:00 - 17:00 and Tues, Wed and Thurs 06:30 - 17:00
**Notes**: Those would be general hours. We hope to find someone that can be a little flexible if need be. My wife and I don't travel for work often but if we need to and are away for a morning or two we may need the au pair to come and do morning lifts on a Monday, Thursday or Friday by arrangement. On the other side we can be flexible about finishing earlier on some days to even out the hours and therefore would always pre-arrange with the au pair. The 9.00 starts are because of shopping, errands and letting the maid and gardener in as the kids will be at school in the morning.
**Duties**:Get children ready for school in the mornings, Take to school in the mornings, Collect from school, Take to extra-murals, Assist with and supervise homework, Run general family errands, Grocery shopping on your behalf, Engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child, Prepare meals for your children, Prepare dinner for your family, Occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement)

**Requirements**:Our preference would be for someone that is 21+, good at problem solving, can think on their feet and change plans, trustworthy, reliable, flexible with arrangements. Someone who is energetic and engages the kids. Experience with the age groups and able to assist with homework. Someone who is happy to do some admin/errands for the house and happy to cook and do grocery shopping and general errands. Cooking for the family. Someone who is happy to do occasional weekend work and babysitting at an overtime rate.
**Start date**: 01 October Start date - Permanent role
**Salary**: R16000 -R18000 per month (gross, before deductions) plus SARS Rates (R4.76) per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
**Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
**Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
**Must have a clear criminal record
**Must have a passion for children
**Must have Matric
**Must have a South African ID document.
