**Junior Social Media Marketing Specialist**

Job Specs:
One of our partner companies is looking for a capable Junior Social Media Marketing Specialist to join their marketing team. Growing your career as a full-time junior Social Media Marketing Specialist is a fantastic opportunity to develop competitive skills.

This position would be responsible for partnering with agencies to boost brand awareness while also contributing content ideas and create innovative campaigns to increase our market presence internationally. The associate with effectively utilise social media platforms to amplify our client base.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a junior to mid management role. We are looking for someone who is digitally strong, but is able to understand analytics, provide statistical reporting, suggestions of improvement while also being able to direct a very small team of dedicated individuals. As the Junior Social Media Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the management of a small but ever-growing team, responsible for online content entries, building a brand through social media platforms, optimising all channels available, while utilizing the latest technology at your fingertips. This is an ever-growing industry, so you would need to be constantly adaptable to change, while also suggesting a new road to follow in order to promote the brand in the right directions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Research and analyse audience, market, and industry data to identify the type of influences to best partner with.
- Social Media experience in posting and writing relevant content.
- Able to analyse data and provide reporting on statistics on followers etc.
- Research and compile data as it pertains to prospective and current clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective campaigns.

SKILLS:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eager to meet and exceed expectations.
- Strong understanding of social networks and other communities.
- Ability to communicate and present information effectively and concisely, both

internally within a team environment, and externally with our partners.
- Demonstrate initiative to suggest and implement new ideas.
- Analytical and able to provide reporting on content statistics.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Any qualification relating to marketing and communication is advantageous.
- 1-2 years’ experience in marketing/ communication.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, ADOBE, Photoshop, PPC, SEO, etc.).
- Social Media Marketing knowledge, content writing or event management experience.
- Social Media Content
- Digital Platform influencing

SALARY: Negotiable, market related

**Salary**: R7,500.00 - R10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
