We are offering a rare and exciting opportunity for an _**International Children’s Story Writer**_ to work remotely with our UK-based central team. Your role will include producing engaging stories for children aged 5-13; transcribing and adapting oral stories (traditionally aimed at adult audiences) into imaginative, child-friendly narratives.

This is a fantastic chance to work from home in a full-time role with flexible working hours, ideal for a creative writer who is passionate about storytelling, religious studies and children’s literature.

- **Schedule**: Regular hours, Monday to Friday
- **Location**: Work from home (Remote)
- **Reporting to**: UK-based Central Team

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Write and adapt engaging, imaginative, and age-appropriate stories for children aged 5-13
- Develop original characters, plots, and worlds that captivate readers aged 5-13
- Collaborate with our UK-based central team to produce high-quality children’s literature within deadlines
- Incorporate feedback from editors to refine and enhance storylines
- Meet creative and production targets set by the team, with opportunities to earn bonuses and incentives.

**What We Are Looking For**:
**Education**:

- International Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field _(e.g., Creative Writing, English, Literature, or Education)_

**Experience**:

- Experience in Story writing (1 year preferred)
- Experience in Children’s story writing, particularly for the 5-13 age group (1 year preferred)

**Skills**:

- High proficiency in English
- Strong ability to write and adapt stories into creative age-appropriate narratives for young readers aged 5-13
- Highly creative, with strong writing skills and a genuine passion for storytelling
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the central team
- Excellent organisational skills and time management.
