Our client is seeking an experienced Reliability and Improvement Specialist Engineer from a background in the mining industry to join their team in Mpumalanga.

**Responsibilities**:

- Improve availability and reliability of plant equipment through identifying root causes of failures and the implementation of prevention measures.
- Working alongside various engineering teams to ensure optimal plant uptime and efficiency through data analysis, failure investigation, reliability centered maintenance and root cause analysis.
- Ensuring health, safety and quality standards are maintained.
- Making recommendations on defects, shortfalls and additional maintenance requirements identified.
- Remain up to day on technological improvements in the sector.
- Implement and maintain fuel, lubricant and air quality management across the plant.
- Continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cost control and input into budgeting.

**Requirements**:Qualification and Skill**_ _**
- National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical (HV) Engineering.
- Matric certificate.
- Tribology and vibration analysis experience.
- 5 years’ experience in reliability engineering within mining processing plant or refineries.
- Experience with RCA and RCM within mining.
- Experience on computerized maintenance systems.
- Computer literate.
- Valid driver’s license.

**Benefits and Contractual information**:
