Onboarding Operations Officer

**Company**: King Price Life
**Purpose of position**:
Drafting, updating and maintaining all relevant documents related to group schemes.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assisting the Head of Onboarding with drafting the relevant terms and conditions, quote, and policy documents in respect of all new onboardings
- Proposing and implementing procedures and protocols to improve document accuracy and to ensure that legal templates are accurate and current
- Taking ownership of the standard operating procedures manual
- Implementing remedial measures following compliance reviews of schemes
- Liaising and cooperating with other departments, including compliance, legal, risk, IT and actuarial sciences to achieve company goals and objectives
**Requirements**:
- Matric or matric equivalent (essential)
- Relevant legal qualification (beneficial)
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in insurance operations
- Understanding and implementation of life insurance and applicable legislation (FAIS, FICA, LTIA, Insurance Act, and POPIA)
- Understanding of insurance principles, operations and processes
- Understanding of individual and collectively underwritten business
