**Position Title: Regional Coach**

**Job Purpose**

To manage the Company Operations in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures, with excellence in CHAMPS execution with customer service, staff development and training, feedback and recognition, control of costs of production and achieving the required sales growth.

The Regional Coach will be responsible for KFC restaurants within the region, as a leader in the market, the Regional Coach will need to deliver against a balanced score card in multiple areas. And will have overall accountability for the financial performance of his/her business by achieving stated financial and operational targets and is accountable for building the overall organizational capability of the Region.

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED.**
- Grade 12 with at least 5 or more years in Retail, QSR, Hospitality or in a similar environment at a senior level.
- National Diploma, B-Tech/bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a similar field preferred.
- Driver’s License and Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- 5+ years of management and leadership experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Responsible for improving Operations KPI’s as contained in the Operations Dashboard and Balanced Score Card by maintaining the Company standard of operations execution, ensuring that all employees are focused on exceeding customer expectations for service, quality, cleanliness, and value.
- Responsible for managing cost controls in accordance with company policy and procedures, directing the activities of employees in meeting targets placed on controllables, maximizing sales, operating efficiency, and profitability.
- Contributing to the overall success of the Company by participating in and contributing to the Leadership Team as a member of senior management.
- Ensuring that all necessary controls and procedures are in place and where necessary improved on, to protect company assets and customers.
- Ensuring that the training and development of employees is to company standards, and initiating action where necessary to ensure that all employees meet the standards of performance required.
- Ensuring complete execution of all CHAMPS components.
- Develop and implement action plans to ensure continued progress in all elements of People Development, Customer Experience (GES), ROCC, Restaurant Excellence and Sales & Profit Growth, as well as Innovation and Continuous Improvement.

**Sales and Profitability.**
- Maximize sales in store to achieve sales budget. o Identify problems/barriers to sales:

- Competitors - continuously analyze and evaluate competitors to identify weaknesses relative to competitors.
- Identify and analyze trends/economic data for the area in which the Company operates to minimize negative effects and maximize opportunities.
- Identify deficiencies in staff competence.
- Constantly evaluate/check on quality of products and of customer service. o Identify opportunities.
- Competitors - continuously analyze and evaluate competitors to capitalize on weaknesses in competitor behavior.
- Develop a Company approach to LSM activities, focusing on transaction growth.
- Responsible for alerting the Leadership Team of potential opportunities in both operations as well as market penetration.
- Ensures that all store resources are at correct levels to meet the various volumes of business.
- Labour - Maintenance of correct staffing levels, constantly analyze and review the maximal utilization of labor and ensuring consistency across all operational areas.
- Product - Ensure that product levels are held at optimal levels to achieve a balance between financial efficiency and excellent customer service.
- Supplies - Ensure that efficient and affective supply levels are maintained to achieve a balance between financial efficiency and excellent customer service.
- Financial controls - Constantly review and analyze the financial controls at store level to enable excellent customer service whilst maintaining financial discipline.
- Local Store Marketing Activity.
- Provide leadership to the Area Coaches on the implementation of local store marketing activities.
- Co-ordinates the implementation of local store marketing activities in accordance with laid down procedures.
- Ensures that all staff are fully briefed and trained for any promotion taking place in the store.
- Advises Leadership Team of all aspects of the local store marketing activities and recommends future activities.
- Reviews success of local store marketing activities and reports to Leadership Team on results
