Portfolio Manager: Digital Marketing

**Job Summary**:
Aon South Africa has an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Manager: Digital Marketing in our Marketing division The role of the Portfolio Manager: Digital Marketing is to utilize all relevant digital platforms to communicate with Aon’s stakeholders, in line with Aon’s corporate identity guidelines, strategies and policies and procedures, with a view to ensuring and optimising reputation management lead generation and client relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**What the day will look like**:

- Responsible for developing and implementing strategies that promotes Aon’s insurance broking solutions.
- Work with the broader marketing and sales team to deliver on companywide objectives and priorities.
- Work closely with digital marketing team to optimize digital channel performance and growth opportunities and working with digital marketing agency to optimize cost of acquisition.

**Lead Generation/Traffic Generation**:

- Work with various formats such as blogs,videos and audio podcasts.
- Recommend marketing channel investments
- Weekly tracking the online conversions and improving the percentages and numbers on all digital campaigns
- Optimize content for company website, microsites and social media platforms
- Evaluate and interpret information extracted from digital analytics to turn business challenges into marketing opportunities and to support decisions through digital metrics.
- Compile monthly tracking reports to determine ROI
- Device experiments and conversion tests
- Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on insights
- Continuously review and improve Aon's SEO to organically grow Aon's presence on search engines.
- Effectively utilise search engine marketing to increase the number of leads for the company through Google AdWords.
- Creating digital & social media strategies to increase online traffic to Aon’s website and microsites
- Conduct research regularly to stay up to date with changes and new trends in digital marketing

**Brand**:

- Work with digital administrator to update, manage and maintain Aon social media platforms to engage Aon colleagues, clients, prospects and communities to ensure effective online maintenance of the Aon value proposition
- Schedule social media content strategically to reach optimum audience
- Monitor social media trends by using social listening tools such as Klout, Twitter and Google Alerts to track topics relevant to Aon's markets and industries in order to optimise Aon's content and brand.

**General**:

- Liaise and share knowledge with Aon plc Global Interactive Marketing Team, also on monthly marketing calls.
- Understand and follows the Aon Impact Model and takes ownership of personal development.
- Maintains personal and professional development.
- Proactively liaises and interacts with business where appropriate.
- Supports and assistance the team as and when required.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Qualifications, Skills and experience that will lead to success**:
**Qualifications.**
- Be in possession of Grade 12 (Matric).
- Be in possession of a Bachelors degree in Digital Marketing

**Knowledge.**
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign), Premier and After Effects will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of social listening tools (Hootsuite, Klout, Google Alerts)
- Know-how in respect of video editing and digital analytics.
- Basic insurance knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Computer literacy with advanced no are in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
