A Restaurant in Linden has a Floor Manager Position

**Job Summary**

As a manager you will be responsible for maintaining a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation in the Front of House. The Floor Manager is responsible for helping the restaurant to meet service, sales, and profit objectives.

The Floor Manager is responsible to supervise and direct associates in daily work activities. He/she will be reporting to the General Manager.

The Floor Manager will be ensuring proper training of employees and formulating work schedules. The roles and responsibilities are however, not limited depending on the Restaurant’s needs.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Supervise the staff
- Train staff to perform allocated roles
- Delegating responsibilities and supervising business operations
- Motivating and coaching employees as they provide attentive, efficient service to customers,
- Assessing employee performance and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities
- Resolving conflicts or complaints from customers and employees
- Monitor store activity, making stock orders, and inventory counting
- Manage inventory
- Assist customers with queries or requests
- Adhere to quality and service standards, increase revenue and help the business to accomplish its goals

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Educational Level: Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management position
- Minimum of +/- 6 years’ experience working as a waiter/waitress
- Certificate in Hospitality (Added advantage)
- Management Qualification (added advantage)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Fine Dining
