A leading name in the world of superfoods, is currently seeking a proactive and dedicated Supply Chain Manager/Head of Operations to join our dynamic team. As a key part of our organization, you will play an instrumental role in managing, controlling, and overseeing all operational functions of our business as we engage in a global business acceleration program which will offer robust growth opportunities for this position.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage all operational functions of the business, ensuring smooth and efficient operations at all times.
- Responsible for managing, controlling, and directing the material cost, planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory control, storage, shipping and receiving functions.
- Assure the timely flow of materials and the return of finished goods to distribution facilities within established time frames.
- Develop and manage material costs, and strategize supply agreements in line with same.
- Cultivate strong supplier relationships, ensuring the demands of our customers are met within agreed conditions.
- Oversee and ensure that the company's Food Safety Management Systems are fully functional and up to standard.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
- 5-10 years proven experience in a similar role within the food industry.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of food safety management systems is essential.
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

**Salary**: R35,000.00 - R44,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
