A national based security company seeks a firearms control administrator.

Core Responsibilities
- **Compliance & Legislation**: Ensuring all firearm activities meet legal requirements (FCA), conducting audits, and managing permits/licenses.
- **Data & Records Management**: Maintaining accurate digital and physical records, updating firearm statuses, and managing documents
- **Stock Control**: Accounting for all firearms, ammunition, and equipment, including controlling access to vaults and managing inventory.
- **Training & Competency**: Verifying officer competency, facilitating training, and managing appointment letters for Designated Firearm Officers (DFOs).
- **Risk Management**: Identifying risks (e.g., non-competent officers), implementing mitigation strategies, and liaising with relevant departments.
- **Reporting**: Preparing and submitting monthly/quarterly reports.
- **Logistics**: Collecting, transporting, issuing, and retrieving firearms and equipment from staff.

**Key Skills & Knowledge**
- Deep understanding of firearms legislation and regulations.
- Strong administrative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with electronic firearm management systems.
- Experience in security operations, compliance, and asset management

Pay: R8 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month

License/Certification:

- Firearm Competencies (required)
- Drivers license (required)
- PSIRA (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
