- Concept designing, rendering, detail designing, and compilation of complete manufacturing drawings for each design
- Research and design of new concepts or products
- Product development of current products
- Technical support to the sales and manufacturing teams
- Cost estimations of old and new designs
- Comparisons of estimated versus actual costs upon the completion of a project
- Keeping costings updated on the current range of products
- All other tasks related to the position

**Qualifications**:

- Matric with mathematics
- Mechanical Droughting qualification
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position in the mechanical field,
- Proficiency in Afrikaans and English (verbal and written)
- Strong computer skills (MS Office and Auto Desk proficiency is mandatory, experience in Access is beneficial)
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
