Overview:
Prepare, plan & schedule the yearly program for all condition monitoring technics under his/her responsibility. Evaluate data and findings, take actions and inform his/her superior if a condition is in a critical situation. Coordinate third party services for special monitoring technics. Assure the right condition of the machine after the repair and before the start-up
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the quarry production as per annual budget
- Manage the legal aspects of the mining and blasting activities
- Manage the five year mining plan to optimize the company's mineral reserves
- Manage and Compile weekly mining plan
- Ensure adherence to Regulations
- Compile the scheduling of the weekly mining plan concerning the selection of panels, overburden removal, drilling and blasting
- Compile the monthly overburden removal, drilling and blasting report
- Manage daily processing of production data
- Design and calculate the explosive and accessory requirements for each blast
- Continuously evaluate all production activities to ensure maximum cost efficiency
- Compile the (SOP's, WI's, ON's and SF's)
- Compile and amend COP’s
- Ensures proper management by exercising good industrial principles
- Manage and motivate the human side of the production and TTW team
- Ensures a competent workforce through proper training
- Ensures proper quarry rehabilitation and execution thereof
- Ensures that sub-ordinates control expenditure by adhering to budget
Education/Qualifications:
- Mining Diploma or related Engineering diploma
- Opencast blasting certificate
- Competent A
**Experience**:
- 5 years experiance within the mining industry
Knowledge & Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of opencast mining
- Good knowledge of cement manufacturing process
- In-depth knowledge of quality control
- In-depth knowledge of crushing and screening
- In-depth knowledge of explosives
- Good knowledge of mobile equipment Good knowledge of safety management methods.
- Good knowledge of laws and regulations
- Hand-on experience
