**The Role** *** We are seeking a passionate Junior Tax Associate to join the Johannesburg Tax practice with 2-4 years' PQE experience. In this role, you will be given the opportunity to work as part of a team on a very wide range of both domestic and international tax projects. All of our team play an important role in business development and you will be expected to be involved in developing and executing our business development strategy. **Key Skills and Experience Required**: - A qualified lawyer or chartered accountant, 2-4 years' PQE - Exposure to Corporate and International Tax, M&A Tax, Transfer Pricing, Employees Tax and exchange control - The ability to review and amend relevant transaction agreements from a tax perspective - Excellent technical abilities and development potential - Proactive and flexible, with an emphasis on reliability, responsiveness and delivery - First class communicator - both strong verbally and written - and able to develop relationships with key internal stakeholders and clients with ease. - Strong team player with a "client first" mentality. - Respects and enjoys the diversity of cultural, social and academic backgrounds found in the Firm **Why Join Us?** *** Baker McKenzie is a truly global law firm.
