4-5 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Reporting to: National Training and Compliance Manager

Key Working Relationships:
Internal: Business Unit Managers, Academy Assistant, HR Department, Payroll and Finance

External: External Training Providers/TETA/SAAFF/Schools/ NGO's

Job Purpose:
Ensure the smooth operation of the L&D department, which includes all coordination, and administration of activities and processes in relation to administering of the Study Bursaries for employees, and the company's learnership requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
To ensure that all BU Managers are familiar with the value added by the company's Academy to the business and to promote a culture of learning within the company

Bursary & Learnerships/Graduate Administration

Documentation & Management control

Main activities of this role:
Carry out initiatives with the business aimed at raising awareness of the company's Academy learning programmes

Comprehensive Administrative function

Effective co-ordination on all Learnership activities

Learner or Intern - Sourcing / Interviews / / Recruitment / Induction / Admin

Participate in learner selection processes and recruit for the Learnership programmes

Accurately Maintain Learnership database

Accurately record and report on Learnerships

Onboard all learners into the company

Liaison with external & internal stakeholders on Learnerships

Reporting to Management on Learnership progress

Co-ordination and Administration of all Graduate related activities

Full Administration of Bursaries

Accurately record and report on Bursaries

Effective co-ordination with Finance,HR and employees

Ensure L&D information is accurately captured and readily available for compilation of Skills Development, Employment Equity and BBBEE reporting

Maintain positive relations with all employees and managers

Learning and Development administration, reporting and records management-Ensure reports are readily available for implementation and discussion with management team

Ensure accurate recording of all L&D activities

Ensure all L&D and related databases are accurately created and maintained

Ensure L&D documents are accurately filed and maintained

Build relationships with identified schools to obtain CV's for Learnership programmes

Applications for Funding - GOPP, SAAFF, TETA

Uploading learners onto TETA platform

Administration for Moderation activities

Application for Workplace approvals

Performance Indicators:
Submission of monthly reports is provided to Management on Learnerships/Bursaries timeously

Maintain filing of all documentation manually and electronically

Learnership recruitment completed, project & budget met.

Resolving internal and external stakeholders queries timeously and efficiently and adheres to organisational requirements

Ensure L&D information is accurately captured and readily available for compilation of Skills Development, Employment Equity and BBBEE reporting

**Inherent Requirements**

Qualifications:
Incumbent must have, or be studying towards, the following:
Facilitation, Coaching & Mentoring Skills

The National Diploma in Occupational Directed - Education Training and Development NQF L5

**Experience**:
At least 3 years experience in Training Administrator environment or similar

Knowledge:
Strong understanding of the Skills Development legislation

TETA Legislative requirements for Learnerships/Discretionary Funding - Expert Knowledge

Assessor / Moderation Concepts and procedures - Skilled Knowledge

**Skills**:Ability to communicate fluently both verbally and in writing

Ability to work in a team in achieving agreed objectives

Ability to create rapport at all levels in different organisations

Organising skills
- documentation and electronic records

Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)at a expert level

Strong Administration & Customer Engagement skills
