Store Manager - Lunar Mart - Stellenbosch

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the overall store operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
- Manage and supervise store employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
- Maintain store inventory, oversee stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Analyze financial reports, manage budgets, and control costs to maximize profitability.
- Plan and execute promotional events, marketing strategies, and seasonal campaigns.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
- Implement loss prevention strategies and ensure security measures are in place.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a similar retail management role.
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to analyze sales reports and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with inventory management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Familiarity with supermarket operations, including perishable goods, grocery stocking, and point-of-sale systems.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field advantageous).

**How to Apply**:
**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2 - 5 years FMCG experience, or in a similar retail environment, with prior management responsibilities
- Tertiary qualification in Retail Management/Sales Management
- Ability to communicate with customers and store team members.
- A commitment to customer service excellence, coupled with superior visual presentation abilities.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership skills with minimum immediate supervision
- A proven aptitude for administration and the professional exercising of discretion at all times and under all circumstances
- Proven effectiveness in time management skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- Computer literacy essential
- Ability to work varied hours/days as required in a retail environment.

Pay: R10 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
