Kennel Assistant

Situated in the heart of the Helderberg, this well-established and busy veterinary practice is seeking an animal-loving, experienced kennel hand to join our team.

Duties include:

- Day to day care of animals in hospital under supervision of our Vet Nurse.
- Cleaning of cages and the rest of the clinic including some gardening when needed.
- Assisting in theatre.
- Must have sufficient physical strength and mobility to lift or move heavy animals and objects as you will be required to handle heavy dogs and bags of food.
- Must be able to empathise with clients and remain compassionate and well-mannered under all circumstances.

No criminal record.

Shifts will be discussed at the interview.

There will be a probation period before a permanent position is offered.

Pay: R8 000,00 - R9 000,00 per month
